Community heART Highland Park is an original of ArtOps, a wholly-owned LLC of Detroit Chamber Winds & Strings, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit. CAHP is a two-year pilot project focusing on research and implementation strategies on how to build community through the arts in Highland Park. The creativity of artists and residents is apparent in every corner of the community. Over the last year, ArtOps researched, conducted interviews, and started building relationships with key stakeholders, artists, and business owners about the arts’ role in the city. This has led to a process of re-granting $50,000, fueling new art created by the community, for the community.
