Multi-Media Marketing Associate
ArtOps is a nonprofit organization providing a shared services model of administration, management and operations support for small to medium-sized arts nonprofits. Who we’re looking for:
The Multi-Media Marketing Associate has a strong desire for a career in marketing, an interest in the arts, and is extremely organized and detail oriented. This individual will digitally engage with many constituents and must have exceptional written communication skills. The ideal candidate for this mid-level position will have the ability to learn and execute a variety of activities essential to marketing an arts non-profit.
Responsibilities include:
- Create cross-platform assets that include print, web, digital, video, and social using Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign;
- Organize pre-production, production, and post-production for minor video shoots: Direct external freelance videography and photo teams on larger video and photo shoots; Shoot video and photography on smaller projects at live events;
- Create intro, outro videos, credit slides, background music, multicam editing, syncing with audio, coordinate audio with outside audio engineer;
- Catalog and maintain library of multimedia presentations, graphic images, photos, videos, and other digital assets and resources;
- Collaborate with the marketing team to concept storyboards and scripts for video projects;
- Manage social media accounts like Facebook, YouTube and Instagram for multiple clients and monitor engagement and analyze metrics;
- Serve as webmaster for multiple clients: Regularly update content, pictures, videos and optimizing user experience; Create new webpages as needed; Add plugins to performance pages; Coordinate with outside contractors on major and minor web projects; Hand code adjustments when applicable/able to do so;
- Develop on-brand templates for presentations, newsletters, e-blasts, social media graphics, and other print and digital assets;
- Work cross-functionally with all teams (development, operations, finance, community engagement) and collaborate daily with other members on projects requiring proofing, copywriting, multimedia or graphic elements;
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to develop print, video, and other multimedia materials when needed;
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines, ensuring timely, quality implementation of communication and marketing plans;
- Participate in off-site Marketing events;
- Participate in day of concert production;
- Assists with Customer Support (Phone calls, emails), and;
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, broadcasting, graphic design, or a related field;
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a marketing or communications position, with hands-on experience in video production;
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups (including non-profit boards) in a positive and professional manner;
- The ability to interact effectively, with discretion and independent judgement, with a sophisticated constituency;
- Willingness to take ownership of multimedia elements, manage multiple deadlines and tasks, and work together with others in a collaborative team environment;
- Extensive knowledge and mastery of social media platforms;
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with Premiere (or Final Cut Pro) and After Effects;
- Proficient in WordPress;
- Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrated skills in writing and editing;
- Possess problem-solving skills and reasoning ability;
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Word/Google Docs, Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, and Microsoft PowerPoint/Google Slides;
- Our company policy requires all staff and volunteers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Hours:
This is a 40 hour per week position, requiring occasional nights and weekend concert coverage (schedule set with staff and successful candidate upon hire).
Salary:
This position has an expected Salary range of $38,000-43,000.
