ArtOps has been in operation since the 1990’s. In response to a need for managment services, Detroit Chamber Winds & Strings (DCWS), the Great Lakes Chamber Music Festival, and the Eisenhower Dance Ensemble joined forces to share administrative and operational staff.

In 2003, ArtOps extended its strategic planning, finance, development, marketing, operational and administrative services to additional arts organizations needing these resources.
